Breed: PORTLAND

Originating from Dorset in Southern England, this is now a Rare Breed. A smalll short-tailed Primitive breed the red coloured fleece of the lambs lightenes to white or grey as they mature.

Fleece and products

The short-staple wool is 6 to 9 cm long with a spinning count of 50-56.
