SUFFOLK

The Suffolk was developed in C19 by crossing Southdown and Norfolk Horn. Largely used as a terminal

sire, it has distinctive black head and legs and  no horns.

The short staple fleece is fine  and  used in knitwear and fabric and as filling for futons.
